Designer Photographer Visual Storyteller

A man sitting on a cushion on the floor, holding a book with popcorn in his lap, with popcorn falling from above, against a plain white wall, with a stack of books on the left.

My work exists at the intersection of where we’ve been and where we’re going. Based in Southern California, I am a designer and photographer dedicated to capturing the soul of a place—whether that’s through the neon typography of SunsetBLVD or the collective voice of a movement.

I believe design should feel as lived-in as it looks. My practice is rooted in tactile storytelling, from independent book design to documenting the evolving landscapes of our communities. For me, every project is an opportunity to bridge the gap between cultural history and modern aesthetics.

What I Bring to the Table

I specialize in helping brands, artists, and organizations tell stories that resonate on a visceral level. My approach combines a meticulous eye for typography with a deep-seated interest in how heritage shapes modern design.

  • Visual Identity & Branding: Crafting symbols and systems with a soul.

  • Book Design & Creative Direction: Turning complex narratives into physical experiences.

  • Editorial Photography: Documenting culture through a raw, authentic lens.

  • Typographic Research:Finding beauty in the signs and symbols of the everyday.

Let's Collaborate

The Lens as a Design Tool

I’m big on photography because it forces me to stay analytical. Swapping between 35mm, 120, and digital keeps me hunting for new perspectives and mastering the physics of light. That grit you see in film grain or the technicality of a specific aperture translates 1:1 to the grids and systems I build as a designer. Whether I’m out in the world or at my desk, I’m always just trying to understand the architecture of the frame.

Favorite shots from the journey so far. Photography keeps me focused on the details, light, depth, and the stuff most people miss. Hope you dig them :)
